This song comes from Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (NIV)".
This is a revelation and truth we must walk by everyday of our lives. Not everyday is a "bright and sunny day", it does get gloomy and rainy sometimes. But just as we know that rain is needed in the ecosystem, God uses those gloomy days in our lives to grow our faith and our strength. So no matter what happens to us, as long as we walk with God, everything is for our good.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY (TGBTG)
It's easy to get low and sad when we're going through hard times. I actually was going through a challenge when I wrote this song. But the bible teaches to not let our situations determine our moods, and even our lives. As hard as it may seem, we need to hold on to a vision of a better tomorrow, and the more we do that, the more we will allow joy in our hearts. Faith means many things, and in this context it's knowing that we can rejoice and praise God through hard times.
